A bit of background...

Chandlers have been chasing me for exactly a year in May for a parking fine of £70 that has now raised to nearly £500. I am personally making a stand against these people for two reasons:
1. As I want to show people that if you cannot afford to pay such a large fine, they have no authority to use force to gain entry into your house or take your property. This, therefore, removes a large part of the fear when it comes to bailiffs calling at your home.
and
2. Chandlers, like many other bailiff companies or Enforcement Agents, as they now like to be known, threaten people with the use of force to recover the debt. They do this by claiming that they may apply for a Warrant of Entry, quoting Paragraph 15(1) of Schedule 12 Tribunals Courts and Enforcement Act.
This part of the ACT is not for Parking Tickets, it is for Unpaid Criminal Court Fines, Businesses, Income tax arrears, Stamp Duty. That's it!
So 'Chandlers' is committing Fraud Through False Representation.
FRAUD BY FALSE REPRESENTATION - (FRAUD ACT 2006)
(1) A person is in breach of this section if he;
(a) dishonestly makes a false representation, and
(b) intends, by making the representation;
(i) to make a gain for himself or another, or
(ii) to cause loss to another or to expose another to a risk of loss.
(2) A representation is false if;
(a) it is untrue or misleading, and
(b) the person making it knows that it is, or might be, untrue or misleading.
(3) “Representation” means any representation as to fact or law, including a representation as to the state of mind of;
(a) the person making the representation, or
(b) any other person.
(4) A representation may be express or implied.
(5) For the purposes of this section a representation may be regarded as made if it (or anything implying it) is submitted in any form to any system or device designed to receive, convey or respond to communications (with or without human intervention). ---END----
I am going to make sure as many people as possible know this!
You may have heard about Power companies gaining Warrants of Entry to install Pay As You Go meters but they acquire them under false pretences. They go to court and claim that it's a Health and Safety issue and not a monetary one. There are many videos on Youtube showing you how to stop this from happening.
This is the fourth visit, but the last two bailiffs before this guy didn't knock on the door and just shoved the notice through the letter box. This guy knocked once, not very hard, and then pushed the notice through the letter box.
So I quickly shoved on some clothes and ran out to him before he got away and this is what happened.
P.S - This guy was alright and I almost felt sorry for him. He has been lied to, like the rest of us, and made a shitty job choice, so please don't be too harsh.
