As with so many films in the Prelinger Collection, there is no information accompanying this reel of film. But its subject is obvious--Park Avenue in New York City, moving from the swanky blocks in the 40's and 50's to the not-so-swanky blocks in the 90's. It ends with shots of the still-under-construction Lexington Houses project at 96th Street. A sign on the project dates the film to the summer of 1950.
