And here we are! My last upload of 2023 to close out the year in style after what has been a frankly bonkers 12 months of music and personal accomplishments I never thought I'd see happen. We've heard ink demons sing and booze cats swing. Saw killers return and watched popstars perform. And listened to a prince's lament. And now it's time for the best bounty hunter in Hell to have his turn.
Striker has been one of the most... well, striking characters that Helluva has introduced, scheming and slick to get what he wants no matter what gets in his way. His original introduction cutting right to the heart of Blitzo's insecurities before showing himself to be dangerous enough to kidnap a Goetia successfully speaks to his sheer determination and skill, and there was only one person who could do this song justice. Striker himself!
Edward Bosco has been an inspiration to me since my earliest days of making proper fan music. From the debut of the Hazbin pilot all the way to his turn providing such a charismatic performance in Striker, having him on board this track was an honour and privilege to have. Ed put in an insane amount of practice to ensure his performance really captured the arrogance and willpower the piece needed and he absolutely nailed it in every possible way. With a massive shoutout to Dawn M. Bennett as the vocal director for the project, helping to bring this all together with their own amazing talents and direction!
The track itself is inspired by not only the obvious country and Western vibes that Striker's status as a cowboy villain brings, but also the energetic movements of breakbeat and drum-heavy dance music pioneered by the likes of artists such as Fatboy Slim in the early 2000s. I wanted to fuse that old time sound with something modern to match Striker's style with his methods, focusing on material that shows that nothing will stand in his way of getting what he wants and enjoying the hunt while he does it. See if you can spot the references to already existing Striker music from the show!

Ive actually been following this one for a while, eagerly awaiting the final parts in order to complete my sound injection to it. Along with a chance to voice Valentino in a rare moment of him losing his cool, trying to perform Stolas being more emotionally upset compared to how weve usually seen him was fun to try too.
Im not sure if I pulled it off completely, I feel some particular parts could be stronger in tone and accuracy, but it was a good experiment nonetheless (and I already re-did a lot of these takes three times over already because I was being too fussy with the details).

They remain to this day one of my favourite artists for the Hazbin fandom for their unique style on the characters, please show them all the support they deserve for their wonderful work.
This was an fun challenge to take on because the original comic has no written dialogue. Much like the larger stretches of Alastors official comic, the entire scene has to rely purely on sound design in order to properly reflect the intended mood. Thanks to dreadfluents ambiguity regarding the scene, I also appreciated how this could be interpreted as Angel and Alastor finding common ground with music tastes, or as something more depending on how you look at it.
The track I chose to use is originally from 1939, an in-between of Angel and Alastors death years to further emphasise their shared connection. And, as a chance to partially show off and also because Alastor is a showman, having him sing lyrics relating to someone else being careless perfectly matched Angels fluster at being caught dancing on his own like this.
NOTE: Please avoid making blunt remarks about ships and the culture that surrounds them as comments or as responses to other people. This is a fan comic done purely for fun and people should be allowed to enjoy this type of content without being called out for having a different preference to someone else. Be civil, be respectful. Anything I see in the comments sections endorsing or acting out this behaviour, I will remove.

Something completely different in tone and style from my usual content, but something I wanted to do all the same. Today (the upload date) marks the anniversary of a very negative personal event and I felt inspired to record this thanks to Hill Houses stellar presentation on the macabre and family.
This was recorded in a single take with only very slight processing applied for sound clarity purposes.
The Haunting Of Hill House series, including its soundtrack, belongs to Mike Flanagan, The Newton Brothers and Netflix. The original book that inspired it belongs to Shirley Jackson.

This is arguably one of the most complicated and detailed sound projects Ive uploaded onto this channel after the Alastor comic, but its one that I am extremely proud of. Alien as a franchise has been one of my favourites since seeing the original film and seeing this universe brought to life so well in this official comic series by James Stokoe inspired me to add even more life via sound.
And Im not alone this time. In order to properly portray this comic as intended, I enlisted the help of some truly amazing voice actors to aid me in playing these characters. Well, after months of waiting and a handful of delays, its finally here. This is arguably the most complex sound design project Ive ever done. With much less dialogue than the Angel comic, a lot of the effort here was making sure all the sound was realistic but also put across the appropriate mood and atmosphere for a character like Alastor. I hope you all enjoy my sound creation on this next official peek into the Hazbin world.
