Starting off 2026 with another foray into pure original music, and on as positive note as I can muster to shake off how difficult 2025 ended up being. When I first became enamoured with electronic music, my first exposures to the sounds that inspire me to this day was born from the UK rave scene in the mid-2000s. My first ever album purchase was full of this energetic, melodic, and downright fun style of electronic that I had never heard before, and it was this sort of sound that inspired me to learn how it was made and do it myself.
All these years later having found my footing and entry into the music space, 'The Light' pays tribute to the things that came before and how they can still be used as the fuel we need to keep going forward, no matter the uncertainty or the worries that are ahead. I wanted to capture the energy of the UK Hardcore sound as it shaped my love of electronic music more than 2 decades ago, taking inspiration from the giants of the genre to create a vocal anthem that's like the old but updated a modern audience.
To that end, it's a privilege to welcome back long term partner-in-crime Cycoriot to lend their signature powerful vocals to this important throwback of my musical journey, and indeed MrDemo for not only once again providing fantastic graphical designs for the video, but also helping to create a visual identity through the artwork that I hope to use with every new pure original track that comes next!
I hope that 'The Light' serves as a first great into to what I'm hoping will be a great 2026. And I hope that you'll all stick with me.

This is arguably one of the most complicated and detailed sound projects Ive uploaded onto this channel after the Alastor comic, but its one that I am extremely proud of. Alien as a franchise has been one of my favourites since seeing the original film and seeing this universe brought to life so well in this official comic series by James Stokoe inspired me to add even more life via sound.
And Im not alone this time. In order to properly portray this comic as intended, I enlisted the help of some truly amazing voice actors to aid me in playing these characters. Their performances were all crucial to selling the tone that this franchise is known for and I highly insist that you check out their details below to give them all the appropriate attention, praise and following that they deserve for their efforts.

Well, after months of waiting and a handful of delays, its finally here. This is arguably the most complex sound design project Ive ever done. With much less dialogue than the Angel comic, a lot of the effort here was making sure all the sound was realistic but also put across the appropriate mood and atmosphere for a character like Alastor. I hope you all enjoy my sound creation on this next official peek into the Hazbin world.

A full cover and re-interpretation of INSANE in character as Alastor, featuring originally created backing instrumentation and sound design.
Im back. 2 weeks after my surgery and I am at a place where I feel comfortable, inspired and wanting to get back into the swing of things. Ive been very careful with what Ive been able to handle and not pushed myself beyond what I cannot do, but my recovery speed since being at home at has been incredible thanks to the support of my family and all of you being so patient and encouraging waiting for me.
Hearing @BlackGryph0n s own song for Alastor, his original singing voice, was the spark of inspiration I needed to get back into making what I love. To pay tribute to his incredible skill, I decided to change things up and not go for a straight translation cover where it is as close to the original as possible. I wanted to do something new. I changed all the instrumentation to be more analogue compared to the originals electronic, adding in the sound design I felt would be appropriate for the lyrics and the scenes. I hope you like it all.
My repairs are almost complete. And this is a major milestone for doing so. Thank you for sticking with me.

This has been a project at least a month in the making. Not only due to the amount of effort required to create every single bit of sound from scratch, but to also source out some incredibly awesome vocal talent to help me with this little ensemble.
More than anything in my line of work, the sound design of a project has to compliment the visuals and support whats there with appropriate usage of effects, foley and music. With comic dubs, I am allowed a certain degree of freedom in regards to timing and intent since it is static images and stuff that you read. But with Dark Crowls animatic, I had to adhere to more rigid timings and elements that were crucial in emulating the flow of an animation to tell this little story of Blitzo struggling with his feelings in the wake of Episode 7. It was a fun challenge.
I would like to extend a huge amount of gratitude towards Dark Crowl in particular for not only allowing me to take this project on, but also for giving me high quality original assets and directions to make sure that the cast could make this the best it could be and be true to their original vision for the animatic. And, obviously, a just as gigantic thank you to the incredible voice actors who lent their voices to this project. I genuinely could not have done it without any of them.

Its been a long time coming this one, but the final part is now finally completed and ready for sound! In the year since Part 2s release, Ive improved in both equipment clarity, production and voice work all at once and Im very happy with how I think it shows since then. I got this one done a lot quicker than probably most had expected, as I had been recording individual parts a page at a time as they were released as I knew people would want me to do this one, and Alastor is always a treat to sound design for.
I still have to record Husk when I wake up because I cant do it any other time.
I also want to give an extra special thank you to Rae for not only allowing me to create this dub, but for helping with the visual editing of the video itself with higher quality assets to make the transition between panels a lot smoother. Please go and support their work for everything theyve done for the Hellverse community and just being a great person in general.
