Since my last uploads earlier this year, my personal life has been difficult for numerous reasons. Large mental hurdles and personal milestones have made it difficult to focus on creating music and finishing what I needed to, along with some things being out of my control to get them done. And all while that's happening, the algorithms that dictate who sees my music, who can share it, who gets told its coming out, are actively detrimental. Every creator has that feeling, that these lines of code across all the platforms we share our creativity on work against us when we don't work to a schedule they think is best.
'Gonna Make It' was written from that perspective, a frustration of acknowledging that these systems don't care about personal circumstances and how it feels like you are caught within their workings, but also knowing that myself and every other creator out there who struggles with this problem WILL overcome it. The art will always speak for itself in the end, even if it's difficult, and I wanted to reflect that in a track based on the timeless sounds of late 2000s dance music to prove it. This is the sort of music, alongside harder edged rave, that shaped how I enjoy and create electronic music.
I also wanted to ensure I worked with other artists who were just as understanding of this as I was to create some truly amazing visuals. Welcoming back plasticrarity after their exceptional work on Dazzling Digital world, they created a really lovely piece that captures how trying to manage all of these things can feel so overwhelming in the spirit of the song. And MrDemo once again dazzles himself with excellent motion graphics visuals that depict not only that digital flow but stuff that wouldn't be out of place at a rave.
This song truly means a lot to me to put out after this long. I really hope you all enjoy and I'm always going to be eternally thankful for everyone who allows me to keep doing this as my dream way of living. Thank you.

A full cover version of Show & Tell in character as Angel Dust, featuring originally created backing instrumentation and sound design.
This is one that quite a few of my viewers have been asking for for some time and I agree that its a track that fits Angel as a character nearly perfectly. The instrumental was incredibly difficult to recreate as the original had lots of different effects and attention to small details, but Im very proud of how it came out. The vocals themselves were equally complex to do because of how many parts there were to consider.
As with past covers like Well Meet Again, the sound design in the introduction was an attempt to better match Angel with how Melanie Martinez originally performed the song. The intent was to make it sound like hes putting on an innocent tone in how he says some of the lines, with the song being an internal monologue that hes thinking about when hes been forced to go on stage.

The aim with this one was to imply this is something that happened before the pilot episode, maybe one of the reasons why Charlie believes herself to be a failure. Lucifers definitely one of the most intriguing characters to me given his potential to influence events in the show, so it was a fun project.
Because he and Lilith could be considered beyond what some could consider normal demons, I wanted to give their voices that sort of ethereal treatment while maintaining accents that matched their position of royalty. Plus, hes fun to voice. Hell make some more appearances down the line.
