After Santorini, we headed to the small island of Ios! Since it's mostly a party island and we're not big drinkers, we spent our time relaxing on the beach or poolside.
On August 25th, for our 3 year wedding anniversary, we decided to take part in a scenic boat tour of part of the island. It was 3 hours long and SO MUCH FUN! First, we stopped at the location of a shipwreck for some snorkelling! Up next was a stop at these awesome sea caves. We jumped off the boat and swam to them to explore. The sounds of the waves crashing echoed throughout the caverns. It was incredible! Finally, we headed to a bay area where the beaches can only be reached by a difficult hike or boat. The water in this area was a completely different colour! It was gorgeous!
Also.... have I mentioned that I miss Greek food? Because I miss Greek food!
Next up?! We're back to the mainland to explore Athens; our last city before a flight back home to Edinburgh!
