This is the world's first fully operational and functional, Paper Plane Folding Machine Gun.
Stick 200 sheets of A5 paper into the back of this machine gun and instead of firing bullets when you pull the trigger, it will unleash a barrage of up to 120 paper planes every minute.
Dieter Michael Krone, loves making paper planes, as it’s his hobby, and many years ago, someone approached him and asked, if he could make 500 paper planes, for a 50th birthday party they were having for their boss.
Now even though Dieter enjoys making paper planes, he calculated, at 3 minutes per plane, times 500 planes, it would take him about 25 hours to fold them all, he said, that is not fun, not even for me.
But some time ago, Dieter was changing jobs and decided to start studying new CAD software, and wanted to put his training & skills to practical use, and recalled the request to make 500 paper planes.
So he decided to design and make a machine, that folds paper and makes paper planes, and since Dieter has a background in Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics, he had all the skills needed.
So he combined his knowledge, training & his hobby and came up with the first version of his Paper plane Machine gun.
Over the years he has developed it further, refining it each time and enhancing it’s speed, with the current version being called the PFM A5 V2.0, which is an abbreviation for Plane Folding machine, using A5 paper, version 2.0
