Wonder World | Police Helicopter High Definition Infrared Camera @WonderWorldYTC | Uploaded June 2022 | Updated October 2024, 14 hours ago.
Police Helicopter FLIR Cameras (Forward-Looking Infrared) have come a long way over the years, the level of detail and heat sources they can pick up now, is simply amazing.
FLIR Cameras capture Infrared energy, which is heat that is transferred by electromagnetic waves, which is radiation at wavelengths longer than what we can see with a naked eye.
Any object with a temperature above Zero Kelvin, emits heat a thermal camera can see, even in total darkness. But this isn't like typical night vision, which requires and amplifies small amounts of visible light.
Thanks for watching.
