In this latest Papal Snapshot (our second episode this week), we dive into St. Boniface's oath of obedience to the Pope. St. Boniface was appointed by St. Pope Gregory II to be "apostle to the Germans," and brought the Catholic Faith to Germany. In this commission, St. Boniface understood the obedience he owed to St. Peter's successor in Rome as the chief authority in the Church on earth.
