New for 2019 at Six Flags Over Georgia is Pandemonium. As the park unveils this great pendulum-like, swinging thrill attraction to the general public for the Memorial Day holiday weekend, the park gave us a sneak peak of the attraction, as well as the revamped surrounding area (called ScreamPunk).
Pandemonium swings outboard-facing riders 15 stories (approximately 150 feet) into the air at speeds reaching 70 miles per hour while rotating them ever-so-slightly, providing a unique experience for everyone (every time)!
When it comes to flat ride attractions that pack a thrilling punch, this is the ride that we've been waiting for at Six Flags. The thrill ride provides solid capacity at 40 guests per ride cycle. We feel this is a much-needed, great new addition to the park. Take a look at what you can experience in and around Pandemonium!

The 2019 Winter Warm Up was held at Carowinds amusement park, showcasing numerous updates from the best and brightest parks in the region. Prior to a weather-shortened construction tour of Carowinds Copperhead Strike roller coaster, presentations were made by Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Over Georgia, Dollywood, and Carowinds. This annual event is held by and for American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE). The event was jam-packed with great news from the parks, interactive questions from the members in attendance, great food, and so much more!
