The HC-V10 is Panasonic's new entry-level "HD" camcorder, but it's really just a standard definition camcorder upscaled to 720P resolution; the image quality is nowhere near as sharp as a true HD camcorder would be. So, you're actually better off recording in its 960x540 resolution "iFrame" mode, as shown here (YouTube downscales it to 854x480 "480p").
