The initial checkout of a Panasonic 9" oscillating desk fan model F-9200. The unit likely dates back to the 1980s. It was made in Japan and is of very good quality build.
The performance is surprisingly underwhelming compared to other offerings available at the time. The air flow is completely satisfactory for close proximity use at a desk, but hardly pushes air across the whole room. This is probably the weakest 9" oscillating fan I've ever tested.
