Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker saw Emperor Palpatine return from the ashes of destruction. In the wake of this event, Star Wars fans grew divided on how this revelation impacted the legacy of Anakin Skywalker. In this video, I explain why, regardless of whether or not an individual liked this decision, it does not defeat the purpose of Anakin's sacrifice in Return of the Jedi.
