In this video, we complete this What if scenario, in which we explore the potential consequences of Darth Plagueis surviving beyond the events of STAR WARS: The Phantom Menace. As it turned out in this timeline, Plaguies not only lived throughout the events of the prequel trilogy, but went on to assume control of the EMPIRE, taking the place of Darth Sidious and Darth Vader, as the one true heir to the throne of the Sith. But with Anakin Skywalker on the loose, will Darth Plagueis fill the shoes that his apprentice wore in the original timeline, or will his greed be his undoing?

In The Rise of Skywalker, Ben Solo returns, renouncing his commitment to The First Order, and rushing to Exegol to join Rey in confronting Darth Sidious. In this video, we honor Ben Solos sacrifice at the end of Episode 9, in which he gives his life to save Rey. Through this act, the grandson of Anakin Skywalker unknowingly finishes what his grandfather started, saving the one he cares about from death, only through the purity of the light side of the force.
