Fargas Nomp, the Ozrelanso rocker with a voice like durasteel dragging across gravel, became a household name the moment he snarled into a mic. With a sweat-glinting chest and a glare that could cut through transparisteel, Fargas came up in the raucous underground of Outer Rim music dens, riding a wave of distortion, boots, and bad decisions.
His most infamous track, Paid to Kill, was written for the cult holodrama Bounty Hunter Starr Novakiller’s Adventures — a show so over-the-top it somehow looped back around to brilliance. The title was ridiculous. The acting, worse. But Fargas’s song gave it a pulse.
The lyrics follow a cold-blooded killer-for-hire — living for the chase, burning across the stars, and leaving bodies in his wake. No remorse, no mercy. Just credits and a blaster.
Fargas has said he’s tired of how often Paid to Kill gets shouted from the back of every venue, nearly thirty cycles later. But he still plays it. Because even now, this is the song that made him a legend.
