Welcome to Part three of my Live packet radio build series where I'm building a packet node from scratch on stream, and documenting the process as I go. This week, I am configuring my software TNCs (VARA and Dire Wolf) to start at boot on windows server, with my shared COM port as well. Then we will boot a Debian 12 Virtual Machine to confgigure and Start LinBPQ to serve our packet node, as well as Winlink RMS. I will finish this off by configuring mail forwarding to Winlink RMS and back for users of my packet node.
