This is a, no commentary, Longplay of Pac-in-Time for Game Boy, released in 1994. The evil Ghost Witch has cast a vicious spell on Pac-Man and thrown him back in time to when he was a Pac-Boy. Separated from his family, he must undo the spell and reunite with them.

The game consists of 7 worlds and each one has 10 levels, there are no secret levels even though I have found a secret exit on stage 1-9. Main screen allows you to start a new game and set a password to transport to the desired stage. No difficulty settings or any other tweaks. Replayability is minimal, after completing the game you go back to main screen, no reward or NG+ mode. There are no bosses apart from last stage which you fight the evil ghost (looks like a canon ball). There are only 3 pickups, the dots which give you an extra life after collecting 100, 1UPs in the shape of an egg, and clocks that give you extra time. The hero starts each level with some special abilities like throwing flame balls, destroying blocks with his mouth, throwing a rope and swing like tarzan (very handy), and ability to swim underwater. There is a time limit in each level, but time in most of them is more than enough.

Regarding the game itself, graphics are very well made (almost look like GBC) and there is a variety of music tracks for each world (track on world 6 rocks!), sound effects are minimal though. Controls are a little hard to familiarize at start, but get easier with practice. Pac is difficult to control but he's a ball so... As for difficulty, I would categorize it as average/high. There are many traps and enemies to evade, some levels are difficult to master, pac only needs 1 hit to die and there is time limit. Tried to collect all dots but some are impossible to collect (troll dots?), for example the dots at 15:22, 17:49, 28:31, 44:44, 45:38, 54:38, 1:03:12, 1:05:52, 1:08:51, 1:10:14 and 1:21:11.

In short, Pac-in-Time is a very enjoyable but quite challenging Game Boy title. I'm quite happy that I managed to do a no death run.

Below are the time stamps at the start of each world:
1-1: 2:47
2-1: 11:10
3-1: 24:34
4-1: 34:36
5-1: 49:54
6-1: 1:01:08
7-1: 1:10:40

Game is played by me in one go. No save states/cheats have been used. Recorded in VBA23.2.

Please note I uploaded it just for fun, no intention to compete anyone.
