He, who had always lived for his master, was slowly becoming obsolete; no longer of use. Alice was taking his place. That fear of being rejected made him vulnerable to her voice. Gil dreamed of the old days, when he was the most important thing to his master; when they traveled in darkness together. He chose to act; he killed Alice. But, to his horror, this didnt have the outcome he had desired. Oz pushed him away; he was no longer needed. Bring him to me, and I will made sure hell never leave you, Alyss promised. Gil had no other options, so he caught Oz and brought him to the Abyss. Alyss just smiled and took the form of her sister; killing Oz right in front of Gil; and there was nothing he could do.
