"Oz has found a new light....one day he may no longer need you." This was Gil's biggest fear come true. He, who had always lived for his master, was slowly becoming obsolete; no longer of use. Alice was taking his place. That fear of being rejected made him vulnerable to her voice.

"If Alice wasn't there....Oz would need you again," the will of the Abyss, Alyss, whispered in his ear. Gil dreamed of the old days, when he was the most important thing to his master; when they traveled in darkness together. He chose to act; he killed Alice.

But, to his horror, this didn't have the outcome he had desired. Oz pushed him away; he was no longer needed.

"Bring him to me, and I will made sure he'll never leave you," Alyss promised. Gil had no other options, so he caught Oz and brought him to the Abyss. Alyss just smiled and took the form of her sister; killing Oz right in front of Gil; and there was nothing he could do.

"One day that fear of yours will cost you everything you hold dear...."

blahhh, this started out as such a good idea....i'm not gonna mention how much it turned into a fail=/

anywho, this is for Once upon a time story contest round 1^^ I had the theme of fear of rejection, and, of course, Gil popped into my mindXD he just screams itXD
