The Overwatch Transformers collaboration arrived on July 9 and goes until July 23. This collab has brought a couple of new skins, with one of them being Ramattra as Megatron, the tyrannical leader of the Decepticons. This skin, just like his enemies the Autobots, gives you a voice filter that changes how he sounds, making you sound more like his Nemesis form even when in your normal form. The voice change to the Decepticon skin is like the Mythic skins that are in the game. The Nemesis form to this skin also gives a unique sound when he transforms, just like the one you hear from the Transformers TV shows and movies.
As you can't see his Nemesis form while playing, even when you try to perform taunts which aren't available for that form ability, I showcased what the form looks like when you transform in a 3rd person view near the end of the video to see what players see when you're in this transformation. The skin is for sale in the hero gallery for 1900 coins, with the bundle in the shop costing 2500 coins for a total of 8 items, which includes a Highlight Intro, Victory Pose, Name Card, Player Icon, two Voice Lines, and a Spray. For the ones who want to get all the newest skins, you have the Transformers Mega Bundle for 5900 coins that gives you everything.
Microsoft Rewards also has this as a reward that you can redeem for 11,500 points, which started being available for people to get on July 17, 2:00 PM EST, with the offer ending on July 23, 2:00 AM EST.
Although the skins are based on the classic Transformers, this can also been seen as a movie-tie collab for the new animated movie Transformers One releasing on September 2024, in which 3 out of the 4 main characters in that film has skins in OW2.
This match features a cooldown bug to Ramattra, with all of his abilities being set to 11 seconds. I played this at 3:00 PM EST, an hour after the Transformers event went live. It was hotfixed a couple hours later on the same day it was out.
