Working with something like this was definitely a first for me. I definitely feel more comfortable using pitched percussion (like xylophones and marimbas), but I still need to figure out what pad sweeps are. I've mainly dealt with your average instruments, so synthesis is a new concept I'm hoping to figure out soon.
