This image sequence is the result of making flat-bed scans of a CRT displaying the feed from a video camera aimed at the scanner’s bright light during its scans. The camera was moved by hand the whole time each scan in a haphazard manner. You can see the camera’s liquid-like paths of motion on the right.
It’s like all three devices are looking at themselves/each other in a funhouse mirror.
