Computer graphics + VHS tape.
I wanted this to look like it was interactive. Like some type of VR experience perhaps. In order to get the proper movement of the camera (player), I screen recorded myself moving around in the second room of Doom's E1M1 map, and then used a camera tracker to apply the movement to my 3D environment that I'd built. A silly convoluted method, but it saved me from having to learn new software, for which I often have little patience.
