Only noticed this now because I was messing around with a mod that let's me see all the collision for the areas.
Looks like bombs help Samus to grab the tile to clip because the input to unmorph is already there by the time the bomb boosts her up so she unmorphs in an unnatural position.
It's possible to do the same thing except bombs in the EMP room in A3 but the area is already oob.
