Our first tunnel boring machine has arrived! 'Bella' will dig a 4km tunnel under Yarraville. She'll be assembled over the next few months from hundreds of different pieces at the northern portal site in Footscray.

When assembled, Bella is 90 metres long, 15.6 metres high and weighs 4,000 tonnes - one of the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere.
