Our Mediterranean 2021 Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Ship Getaway. Trip covered October 12 to October 31, 2021. With Covid cases running low and the third Moderna shot in our arms we felt safe. We had two Covid PCR tests before flying out of Myrtle Beach and one Covid Test at the dock before being allowed on the ship. At the end of the cruise we had another test and then took a final PCR test before flying back to the United States. Masks were required to be worn even on the ship. Proof of vaccination was required before entering museums or restaurants in Europe. Once back in the USA the rise in Covid cases started to increase.
Highlights include seeing Kristen Buccarella, Rome, and the Athenian Acropolis.
