We consider ourselves NEW farmers! Just a few years ago we decided to take the plunge and get our first milk cow, Fannie. Now, her daughter Cherry is going to have her first calf and it's not going as fast as we had hoped. Cherry didn't know quite what to do.
We took a little Food Nanny break for pasta and sugar cookies and then went back to the barn just to find that Cherry seemed to want to stop whatever was happening by backing right up to the wall!
We share all our new farmer adventures on my instagram and live streaming our cows' births when we can. As you can see, we are still learning so much and just love these amazing animals in all that they teach us.

Right now, so many new people are getting into homesteading just like us and we love our fresh eggs, milk, homemade butter, cheese and especially the wonder of living with these animals, but seriously, we keep it REAL!
Sometimes being a new farmer is stressful but the rewards are WORTH IT!!

Kamut® flour is NOT gluten-free, but has often been found to affect people differently than typical flour gluten. Some studies have shown that Kamut® flour and products might be more digestible for people who experience symptoms of gluten intolerance.
