This is my part for OnceUponAMagicStudios' 'Carnival of Rust' MEP, hosted by the lovely RenataMSparroW! :)
THEMEEEE: an evil force takes over and forces a young man to do evil, but forget the most powerful force: love. this force will be able to release it?
STORYYYY:
- Rothbart wants to make Phoebus evil, maybe out of fun or maybe to use evil Phoebus to his own advantage. He casts a spell on Phoebus which makes him wicked. ;o
- Cinderella shows Phoebus her new dress, but senses something isn't right. Her suspicions are confirmed when Phoebus tears Cinderella's dress to shreds and says abusive things. Distraught, Cinderella runs away, while Phoebus just seems indifferent.
- However, some shards of glass from Cinderella's shoe (let's just pretend the glass slippers she was wearing got broken in Phoebus' attack) catch Phoebus' eye and he picks up some pieces, which form a love heart.
- Memories of Cinderella come flooding back and he remembers his love for her. He goes to her and apologises, and she sees that he is back to normal and forgives him (yup! She just lets him get away with it! No explanation necessary!!).
I HAD to join this MEP. I've loved this song for years, but just recently my obsession with it has been renewed. *-* Also, don't you think the theme is totally original? :D
Cinderella's role is pretty flexible in this. I originally intended for her to be Phoebus' lover, but while editing this I realised that they actually could pass as brother/sister or maybe even father/daughter, at a stretch. I also really wanted to use the scene from the third Cinderella movie where Cinderella touches the Prince's hand, but, it seemed like too much effort. XD
Credit for the Cinderella mask at 0:21 goes to sailormandm. :)
(Also, a quick update with my 'Enchanted' MEP. I'm gonna re-render it tomorrow. And if it still doesn't work, well... I might just throw my laptop out of the window.)

Theme: Tribute to a Disney Princess.
I am so glad I got to take part in this MEP, and with this character too! In the Disney Princess lineup, shes probably my favourite, next to Cinderella. I really wish she got more screen time! Also, I just adore this song (how can you not love Marina & the Diamonds?!).
I think this part of the song suits Aurora because when shes under the spell and shes walking around the castle, she does like a robot, or a machine as the song puts it. Plus, Auroras propechy was that she would touch the spindle and fall asleep, and she did fulfil that. xD So...yeah. xD
