Theme: Dark romance.
Story: Ariel and Eric are deeply in love, but Rothbart wants Ariel for himself. She rejects him in favour of Eric, so Rothbart turns her into a mermaid and kidnaps her, thus keeping her and Eric apart forever.

Theme: Tribute to a Disney Princess.
I am so glad I got to take part in this MEP, and with this character too! In the Disney Princess lineup, shes probably my favourite, next to Cinderella. I really wish she got more screen time! Also, I just adore this song (how can you not love Marina & the Diamonds?!).
I think this part of the song suits Aurora because when shes under the spell and shes walking around the castle, she does like a robot, or a machine as the song puts it. Plus, Auroras propechy was that she would touch the spindle and fall asleep, and she did fulfil that. xD So...yeah. xD
