Apparently morphing before the game forces you into 1st person mode is not something the game takes kindly to...
Note that this game has very few *glitches* and is damn near impossible to get OOB in (doing so requires outrunning the game's loading, which is impossible on VC). Getting it to *crash* is actually an accomplishment.
