"Lord, teach us to pray." Prayer is not natural for a person until the life of the Son of God is born within. It is through prayer that this divine life is nourished, not merely as a means to receive things, but to know God intimately. A childlike spirit asks boldly, trusting that God will respond. When self-sufficiency is set aside, prayer connects with true Reality. Prayer doesn’t primarily change circumstances but transforms the heart and perspective, allowing the individual to face life with the renewed mind of God’s purpose and grace.
