Living by faith means fulfilling our daily duties without always seeking signs or inspiration. God's presence is constant, even when heaven seems silent. The desire to always experience divine moments can distract from the purpose of faithfully serving in obscurity. True faith trusts without relying on feelings or rare, uplifting experiences. It is in doing the mundane tasks with steadfast faith that we discover God has been with us all along. Inspiration comes unexpectedly, not as a standard, but as a gift when our focus remains on faithful action and duty.
