O’Shaughnessy Dam Centennial: Building a Dam in the Wilderness @MySFPUC

Construction of the O’Shaughnessy Dam began in 1919 and was completed in May of 1923. The dam helps provide clean drinking water for 2.7 million people and also generates 100% greenhouse-gas-free electricity that powers City facilities.
