Welcome to Vlog 8 of my Japan adventure! After leaving Kyoto behind, we travel to Osaka and start exploring some of the city's most iconic locations, including Namba Yasaka Shrine, Shitennoji Temple, and Osaka Castle. But as a Nintendo and gaming fan, the real adventure begins when we start exploring Osaka's incredible collection of official stores and pop-ups.
We visit Nintendo Osaka, Pokémon Center Osaka, the Capcom Store, Kirby Café Osaka, the Square Enix Pop-Up Store, Jump Shop, Pokémon Center DX Osaka, the Studio Ghibli Store, and the Godzilla Store Osaka. With so many different franchises packed into one city, this quickly becomes one of the biggest gaming and anime shopping days of the entire Japan trip.
After all the shopping and exploring, we take a boat cruise through Dotonbori, explore the famous streets and neon signs, and even ride the Don Quijote Ferris Wheel for an incredible view of Osaka. From temples and castles to Nintendo, Pokémon, Kirby, Godzilla, anime stores, Dotonbori, and Osaka's famous nightlife, this was the perfect introduction to one of Japan's most exciting cities.
