Welcome to Vlog 11 of my Japan adventure. This time, I take a day trip to Hiroshima, starting with one of the most unexpected Pokémon experiences of the trip: visiting the Pokémon Center Hiroshima and seeing the massive Shiny Gyarados display. As a Nintendo and Pokémon fan, getting to see this in person was an incredible way to start the day.
However, the day eventually took a much more serious turn when I visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. The experience affected me deeply, and after leaving the museum, I realized that I needed time to process everything I had just seen. Instead of continuing to film for the sake of the vlog, I decided to put the camera away and take the rest of the day as a personal rest day.
This makes Vlog 11 very different from the rest of my Japan series, but I wanted to share the experience honestly rather than pretending the day continued normally. Sometimes traveling isn't about constantly filming, visiting every attraction, or creating content. Sometimes you encounter something that makes you stop, reflect, and simply take some time for yourself.
