A song inspired by perhaps one of my absolute favorite characters of BNHA: Aizawa Shouta
(But let's face it I have a LOT of favorite characters in this series)
I was actually asked/commissioned to write this based on a particular scene from the manga! But honestly, it could work for a lot of things.
I'm honestly EXTREMELY proud of how this turned out. I've never been satisfied with my percussion, but I got a new set of instruments and I'm loving them! I hope I can write more epic orchestral pieces with them!!!

Theres only one person to blame, and thats me.
Hey guys! Long time no upload! Ive been super busy this summer with a full time job and havent really had the chance to write much music or do much at all since school ended in May. So I hope youll forgive me for being inactive for so long.
This song comes from a rather difficult time during the year. I struggled a lot with several instances of depression bad enough that I wouldnt bother to get to class on time or even show up at all. It was hard to keep going most days. I worried a lot about what is going to happen in my future, and Im not going to pretend that this worry is gone now. There were a lot of sleepless nights this year and there will probably be more.
This song means a lot to me. Its about that struggle of figuring out who you are underneath what seems to be nothing but emptiness. Depression itself is not necessarily universal, but everyone has struggled with figuring out who they are and where theyre going to go.
You can look at this is a lot of different lights. I hope this holds some meaning for you too.
