I am back to my 'Notes from the Attic' series of piano miniatures this month. My latest piece, Minagold, is more positive, more relaxed, and more nostalgic in tone than the previous three pieces. What does the title mean, I hear you ask? Well, I won't give too much away, except to say that it is a word I borrowed from the Sirens episode in that most fertile of books, James Joyce's Ulysses.
