It feels like it's been quite a while since I last posted a composition, so I decided to put together a little anime-inspired composition. This was mostly improvised to begin with, then I decided to flesh it out with some strings and woodwinds.

While Im still in lockdown I thought it was time for another cover. This time its a stripped-down/relaxing arrangement of Path of the Wind from My Neighbor Totoro. This cover is loosely based around Torby Brands arrangement, so go check it out if you havent already.
I may have mentioned this before, but Joe Hisaishi is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite composers. Hisaishis music is also one of the reasons I began composing to begin with, so Id like to upload some more Ghibli covers in the near future. Maybe Ill start learning some pieces from Mononoke Hime next.
