It's been quite a while since I last attempted to record an improvisation, but this evening I felt inspired to play a little something on the spot, so this was the result. It's fairly short, and as structure goes it was kept pretty simple, but hopefully you'll enjoy anyway.
Also I have a few projects planned in the coming days, including an orchestral arrangement of a certain song, so consider this more of a "filler" upload.

While Im still in lockdown I thought it was time for another cover. This time its a stripped-down/relaxing arrangement of Path of the Wind from My Neighbor Totoro. This cover is loosely based around Torby Brands arrangement, so go check it out if you havent already.
I may have mentioned this before, but Joe Hisaishi is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite composers. Hisaishis music is also one of the reasons I began composing to begin with, so Id like to upload some more Ghibli covers in the near future. Maybe Ill start learning some pieces from Mononoke Hime next.

I just finished watching episode 21 of Steins;Gate 0 today and I have to say I was blown away. Definitely my favourite anime of the season, I have to admit I got a little emotional when I saw Kyoumas revival.

Heres another solo piano piece that I put together. It mainly started out as a simple sketch, but I decided to score the entire thing out and write sheets for it.
I also decided to include the sheets in the video this time because I figured it might be more useful when learning. I also thought that it might shed more light on my thought process when writing these pieces. Generally speaking this one isnt too difficult to learn because I wanted to keep it simple.
