A new technology lands at the Joint Research Centre: the organ-on chip! At the EU reference Laboratory for alternatives to animal testing (EURL ECVAM), the JRC has set up the new Organ-on-chip Laboratory, where our EU researchers are using this device to provide human-relevant information, supporting safety assessment of chemicals and biomedical research.
