First album released in 1990 by italian-french Dark Neofolk duo Ordo Equitum Solis, in this case called "Ordo Eqvitvm Solis" in roman script.

Ordo Equitum Solis consisting of singer Nathalie Herrera and guitarist Paolo De Marco specialized in solemn and melancholic Folk ballads reminiscent of medieval music, both troubadour songs and Gregorian chants.
Inevitably, "Solstitii Temporis Sensus" (Musica Maxima Magnetica, 1990) and "Animi Aegritudo" (1991) sounded derivative of Sol Invictus and Dead Can Dance.
The EP "OE" (1993) and the live "Paraskenia" (1994) simply recycled those same ideas, but "Hecate" (1995) and Planetes (1999) showed a growing mastery in producing the sound of their acoustic songs.
After the EP "Signs" (Sinope, 1999) and the double-disc anthology "Octo" (1999), a new studio album, "Metamorphosis" (2000), experimented with a more varied format.
Following declining sales and some difficulties, the band disbanded in 2001.
The duo reformed in 2011, subsequently releasing "Killing Time Killing Love" (Cynfeirdd, 2013).

Recollect is a concise but essential Mini-Album from Skeletal Family, capturing the band’s early Gothic Rock identity at its most raw and atmospheric. Acting partly as a bridge between singles and their debut Burning Oil, the EP gathers some of their strongest pre-album material, blending icy guitars, driving post-punk rhythms, and Anne-Marie Hurst’s striking, expressive vocals. Tracks like “She Cries Alone” and “The Night” highlight the band’s ability to balance melodic urgency with a darker, more brooding mood. While not as cohesive as a Full-Length statement, Recollect works as a compelling snapshot of a formative period for one of the UK’s key early goth acts.
