The toothbrush sitting on its charging base is relatively top heavy and can easily be knocked over or onto the floor. The bottom of the charger base has little contact area with the counter top and trying to use double-sided tape by itself does not work for very long. I wanted to make a holder with a large flat bottom surface for the double-sided tape and the charger base would be glued into the holder with Silicone.
