I was cleaning up the OP-Z and found a loop I wrote a while ago. It isn’t the best thing I’ve ever made, but I wanted to save it here because it has a special memory.Our daughter was falling asleep on my lap on a long flight. I had just gotten the OP-Z and was still learning how to use it. I thought there would never be a better time to try to make a lullaby. Something felt bittersweet about how happy I was that she was so peaceful and asleep just using me like a pillow, but also knowing that she is getting bigger and that isn’t always going to happen.I guess that is what being a parent is like sometimes.So this very simple song reminds me of the time I sound-tracked my best attempt at being a pillow.
