In this video I review the Opus 88 Lennon Tool Bar Halo in purple. I show you the pen, the packaging and comparisons both within the Opus 88 line and other fountain pen brands. We do a writing sample and then I tell you my likes and dislikes about the pen.
NOTE: this Opus 88 Halo takes a #5 nib/unit as does the Opus 88 Koloro & Opus 88 Mini. The other Opus 88s I showed (Omar, Demonstrator) take a #6 nib/unit.

This pen is a high quality great performing eye dropper pen with an ink shut off valve. It is in about the $100 price range depending upon where you purchase and you can also look for sales, coupons and special offers. I currently am seeing this specific pen/color at both Vanness Pen Shop and Jet Pens.
You can purchase the #5 nib units (they screw in and out easily) for $16 at Vanness.
This pen is 5.6" or 14.3 cm capped. Uncapped = 4.9" or 12.5 cm.
Grip diameter = 10.7 to 16 mm
Weight 22 grams (whole pen) or uncapped 13 grams
Ink capacity is 2 ml.
