Tips and suggestions for properly operating your Optimus 209 and 209N alcohol burners. Always use 90% or more ethanol content denatured alcohol with these type burners. They will not work with high-methanol content denatured alcohol because methanol has much less heat energy. They will burn lean or not at all with high-methanol content denatured alcohols.
