Opera House Arts' Community Advisory Board is very proud to present a community-wide reading, from our homes, of a Deer Isle favorite children's book: The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree, written by Gloria Houston with illustrations by Maine's own Barbara Cooney. From our families and Christmas trees to yours, we offer this delightful reading, complete with illustrations and music played by some of our students. Project directed by Community Advisory Board member Amanda Larrabee.
Opera House Arts at the 1912 Stonington Opera House, on the National Register of Historic Places, has been producing live professional and community theater, and presenting first run movies, family programming, concerts, and dance in the restored Opera House since 2000.
