In the previous video, I tested the wireless performance of the Extreme Networks WS-AP3825i running OpenWrt — and it was disappointing. So in this video, I upgraded it with the AsiaRF AW7916-NPD WiFi 6E AX3000 module, and get up to 800 Mbps on WiFi 6 5GHz!

If you got the same module, all you need to do is installing OpenWrt 24 and the package kmod-mt7916-firmware.

06:24 - Enable flow offloading and retest
07:12 - iperf3 LAN test result
07:34 - LuCI overwrites htmode to HE20
