Join us for the next OpenWorm Journal Club where Randal Koene and colleagues will talk about a generalized roadmap to whole brain emulation. 

A Generalized Roadmap to Whole Brain Emulation
This talk is about the generalized roadmap to whole brain emulation, using system identification in computational neurophysiology and connectomics. The talk will highlight those aspects of the project that are unique to the activities of carboncopies.org and its close affiliates (not part of academic work in connectomics / physiology). There are a number of crucial open questions, some theoretical (e.g. resolution) and some practical (e.g. tools) where a systematic and crowd-sourced approach may suggest useful answers or out-of-the-box methods.
