Welcome to our mini-series on 3D scan enhancement and 3D printing!
These tutorials are packed with examples, descriptions, and in-depth explanations of the OpenScan Mini, an open-source photogrammetry-based 3D scanner developed by OpenScan.
In this second episode of our series, we’re trying to create a 3D model from a small bronze casting mold, which is a negative, using the OpenScan Mini and ultimately produce a 3D-printed figure.
We’re currently working on more episodes that explore a variety of scan-worthy objects,
explain how to use the 3D scanner, and cover topics such as photogrammetry and beyond...
Let us know in the comments what kinds of objects you’d like to see us scan and explain, or which software you’d like to use or are already using for 3D scanning.
