What is the role of buying in the digital era? How do fashion industry professionals forecast trends and know what to buy? How does someone become a fashion buyer?

Please join us for a one-hour panel discussion with top fashion buyers from Tory Burch, Ross Stores, and The North Face, moderated by FIDM Merchandising & Marketing Program Director and former buyer for Christian Dior Couture, Mimi Su, as we explore the art and science of fashion buying.

Learn how the FIDM curriculum prepares students for success in this field as you meet FIDM Grads and other experts in merchandising. They’ll discuss their experience, the customer, and how the DNA of their brand influences their buying.
